Sections of the Congress will discuss the novel findings and new results in radiobiology, radioecology, and nuclear safety:

1. . Radiation biochemistry and molecular radiobiology (Section 1).
2. . Mechanisms of action of small doses of ionizing radiation (Section 1).
3. . Genetic and epigenetic radiobiological effects (Section 1).
4. . Radiation protection and modification of radiobiological effects (Section 2).
5. . Medical application of ionizing radiation (Section 2).
6. . Standardization of radiation exposure and dosimetry (Section 2).
7. . Modern problems of radioecology (Section 3).
8. . Radiobiological and radioecological challenges in regarding of the war in Ukraine (Section 3).
9. . New methods of radiobiological and radioecological research (Section 3).
10. . Radiobiological and radioecological education (Section 3).

During the congress, a general meeting of the members of the Ukrainian Radiobiological Society will be held. As part of the congress, a seminar «Prions and amyloids in plants and their allergenicity for humans and animals» is planned with the participation of Ukrainian and foreign scientists.

Registration and Abstract submission

Key dates

June 30, 2023 – Deadline for submission of the electronic participation forms and abstracts.
July 17, 2023 – The second information letter.
August 21, 2023 – Opening the congress.

To participate in the congress

it is necessary until June 30, 2023:

• Send the abstract file to the e-mail address of the congress: radiobiologyua@gmail.com

1. The organizing committee will consider only abstracts sent in Microsoft Word format (*.doc or *.docx files).
2. The file should be named by the first (or presenting) author’s surname in Latin letters (for example, Kutsokon.doc ).
3. The file should not contain graphs, figures, tables, or a list of references.
4. Abstracts which are not formatted by the authors according to the defined rules or sent after the submission deadline will not be considered.
5. The organizing committee will send all messages to the e-mail address of the contact person specified in the electronic registration form.
6. If you have not received confirmation of abstract acceptance by August 10, 2023, please contact the organizing committee by e-mail radiobiologyua@gmail.com
7. Congress abstracts will be published electronically and presented on the website https://www.icbge.org.ua
