Dear Colleagues,
We are very happy to invite you to participate in IV International conference of young scientists “Biodiversity. Ecology. Adaptation. Evolution", dedicated to 180th anniversary from the birth of famous physiologist Ivan Sechenov. The conference is being organized by the Biological Faculty of Mechnikov Odessa National University on September 16-19, 2009.
The Organizing committee includes specialists from different branches of biology from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Uzbekistan and South African Republic.
It is planned to consider and discuss actual issues of modern botany, zoology, hydrobiology, mycology, physiology, genetics, biochemistry and ecology.
Conference symposiums are:
1. Botany and mycology:
- systematic and floristic of vascular plants;
- phycology, bryology, mycology and lichenology;
- problems of plants and fungi ecology and adaptation.
2. Fauna of terrestrial ecosystems:
- fauna;
- ecology;
- protection and rational use.
3. Fauna of aquatic ecosystems:
- fauna;
- ecology;
- protection and rational use.
4. Physiology and biochemistry of human and animals.
Materials of conference will be published as a Book of abstracts. Working languages are: Ukrainian, Russian and English. Number of oral and poster presentations is limited!
