General Information.
The conference will be held in Kaunas Botanical Garden of VMU, which is in Kaunas (see http://botanika.vdu.lt).
Languages
The official language of the conference will be English.
Conference participants will be accommodated in Kaunas hotels (60 – 100 Euros per night) and in students hostels.
Preliminary Scientific Programme.
The conference programme includes short oral and poster presentations.

- Management and research on plant genetic resources
- Economic botany
- Plant pests and diseases
- Plant physiology
- Ornamental plants and landscape design
- Plant breeding
- Plant resistance to biotic and abiotic factors
- Tree architecture and fruit quality
Deadlines:
- Deadline for registration and abstract submission is 10 December 2012.
- Deadline for publication is 1 March 2013.
- Deadline for conference fee is 1 May 2013.
Conference Fee.
Conference fee will be 50 Euros. The registration fee includes all conference documents, coffee and tee during breaks. The conference fee does not include accommodation and the health insurance.
Excursion.
Excursion to collections of Kaunas Botanical Garden of VMU.
Social Events.
Farewell party will take place in Kaunas Botanical Garden of VMU.
Conference Publications.
Abstracts will be published without editing. Scientific papers will be published in the scientific journals “Vytauto Didţiojo universiteto botanikos sodo raštai” (http://biblioteka.vdu.lt/?q=node/575), “Ţemdirbystė=Agriculture” (http://zemdirbyste-agriculture.lzi.lt/), and “Biologija”(http://www.versita.com/science/lifesciences/biologija/).
