Planning for the 2010 International Association for Plant Biotechnology World Congress is well underway. We are excited and honored to have 12 outstanding Plenary Speakers from a range of institutions who will deliver thoughtful and provocative lectures that range from climate policy and implications for agriculture, to cutting edge experimental science and applications of science that enhance the lives of humankind, as well as forward looking research that projects uses of biotechnology into the future. Congress attendees will have the opportunity to interact with leading scientists from a range of disciplines, including in plant, microbial, and biomedical research. The Program Committee has scheduled over 50 symposia, each with at least one specially selected Keynote Speaker. Other session speakers will be selected by the symposia organizers from abstracts submitted by you – the attendees to the Congress! Please submit your abstract to the relevant symposium topic by February 15, 2010 for consideration for a speaker position – this presents a unique opportunity for your research to be seen by a large group of international plant scientists! We welcome you to register today to attend the 2010 IAPB Congress in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Researchers at all levels -- scientists, representatives from industry and government, professors, post-docs, and students -- are encouraged to present a poster at the 12th World Congress of the IAPB. Instructions and guidelines are available on the abstract submission form.
YOU MUST REGISTER (on their site) FIRST BEFORE SUBMITTING AN ABSTRACT. Registration for the 12th World Congress is open. Each IAPB and SIVB member will receive one free abstract submission as a presenting author. Members who submit more than one abstract as a presenting author will be charged a $100 fee. All non-members will be charged a $100 fee for each abstract submitted.
To be considered as a symposium speaker submit by March 15, 2010. If selected, you agree to a 15-minute presentation in front of an audience and you agree to the date and time of your presentation as determined by the review committee. Travel funds, hotel costs, registration, and/or honorarium are not available. You will be notified after April 1, 2010 if you have been selected.
Deadline to submit poster presentation (and not for consideration as a symposium speaker) and to be included on a searchable abstract flash drive: submit by March 15, 2010.
