This conference has been designed to provide a practical review of both gynecologic and nongynecologic cytopathology. Cytotechnologists, cytopathologists, pathologists, cytotechnologists-in-training, physicians-in-training, residents, fellows, and other medical professionals are welcome to attend.

Conference Overview:
This course is primarily designed, for practicing cytotechnologists and cytopathologists, to provide a valuable review of key cytologic principles for daily practice as well as to give trainees a well-rounded review of cytologic principles. Additionally this course may be of interest to other healthcare providers, including but not limited to, gynecologists and oncologists.
Conference Objectives:
Upon completion, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate Human papillomavirus disease as pertains to non-gynecologic sites
- Feel more prepared for upcoming certification/recertification examinations
- Learn of opportunities to help those in need of cervical cancer screening
- Understand the role of molecular testing in thyroid neoplastic disease
- Become more familiar with the principles of thyroid cytopathology
